¿Qué decir de Ronnie Lane? ¿De un tipo que fue parte fundamental de los Small Faces y los Faces? ¿Que publicó discos en solitario como el excelso Ronnie Lane’s Slim Chance? “All or nothing”, “Here comes the nice”, “Lazy Sunday”, “Debris”, “Richmond”, “Oh La La”, “You’re so rude” “Give me a penny”… La lista de temazos escritos o co-escritos por Lane, un músico excepcional amén de un tipo de carisma desbordante, es interminable.
Posteo hoy un clip en directo acojonante, robado del muro de un colega en el facebook (gracias, Iván). La canción, una maravilla, se publicó como single en el año 73, y desconozco si la esribió el propio Lane (a ver si hay alguien por ahí que pueda ayudarme), aunque lo cierto es que el tema desprende el aroma inconfundible de su mejor material. Hala, pues, que ustedes lo disfruten.
